Hosta 'Grand Tiara' (Pollock '91) Medium Ht=14" W=30"
A 'grand' improvement over its parent H. 'Golden Tiara'. With H. 'Grand Tiara' we have a much wider gold margin and better substance, but yet we retain that perfect cascade of foliage. The form of the mound is what it's all about with the 'Tiaras'. Absolutely perfect Nadia Comaneci form. The leaf centers are a nice dark green on perfectly mounded plants that are nearly smothered with purple bell-shaped flowers. If you're looking for an edging hosta of medium height and perfect form, this is it. Of course its parent is H.'Golden Tiara'.
