The thick leaves are bright yellow with irregular green margins (the reverse variegation of H. montana 'Aureomarginata') - and Man! - does it ever light up the shade. Later in summer, depending on light levels, the yellow turns to a cream or chartreuse. H. 'On Stage' is very slow to emerge in the spring, so please be patient. A truly beautiful selection. H. 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa' is one of my favorites, due to its super thick substance and heavy corrugation. Leaves have blue-green margins and chartreuse centers that darken by midsummer.
