Hosta 'Komodo Dragon' (M. Seaver, NR) Giant  Ht=30" W=84"
This is a really cool - outer-space - kind of hosta, especially if you're looking to cover a lot of ground. A mature clump of H. 'Komodo Dragon' is a whopping seven feet across. Heavily rippled leaves are dark green with a gray silver cast and piecrust edge. When it emerges in spring, it almost looks like little cabbages sprouting. A ginormous hosta from the great Hosta Lady herself, Mildred Seaver. Pale lavender flowers.
