A wonderful selection introduced by Shady Oaks in Waseca, MN. A sport of H. 'Guacamole', H. 'Stained Glass' exhibits the same vigorous growth rate as its parent. Beautiful variegation of brilliant gold with wide dark green margins. It's fairly sun-tolerant and practically glows when the light catches it. Pale lavender flowers. 2006 American Hosta Grower's Association Hosta of the Year.
