Acorus calamus 'Variegatus' (Variegated Sweet Flag)  3 ft  Z4-8  Sun-Pt shade

This has been a wonderful Acorus 'Variegatus'grass for us. I think it actually likes our clay. The foliage resembles that of an Iris, with a striking, wide, creamy yellow variegation. I use it throughout the perennial borders for a dramatic accent. Acorus 'Variegatus' will grow in shallow water, and the leaves emit a fruity 'orangey' smell when crushed. Great!   8.95
