New for 2010! I've always wished we could grow Heaths and Heathers here in Jo Daviess County, but our alkaline clay soil doesn't seem to be to their liking (judging by the number I've killed). Finally a possible substitue, albeit with blooms in late summer and early fall. Prostrate, woody (almost shrub-like) plants are smothered in dainty white blossoms. Mildew resistant and drought tolerant once established.
