Corydalis lutea 9-15" Z5-7 Sun-pt shade
If C. lutea is kept moist, it would be hard to find a plant with a longer bloom period (late spring through mid-fall). I love the splash of color it brings to part-shade. The foliage is ferny and adorable in its own right. When it's happy, C. lutea will freely re-sow, (lots of babies for your gardening friends). Listed as Zone 5 but has performed well for me in a sheltered Zone 4 spot.
