Lathyrus latifolius (Perennial Sweet Pea) 4-6ft Z3-8 Sun-pt shade
The flowers of perennial sweet pea are much the same as the annual varieties but alas - they have no fragrance. A great vertical accent with an old-timey look. Perennial sweet pea starts with a large flush of bloom in early summer then sporadically throughout summer into early fall. Makes a nice cut flower. The vigorous vines do need support, so let one clamber up your garden shed - you won't be disappointed.
