This variety has done particularly well for me. Very tiny, dark green leaves that emit a strongThymus Ruby Glow lemony fragrance when bruised. I'm very pleased with Tricyrtis 'Gilt Edge' the performance of this plant in the shade garden. The green sword-shaped foliage is edged with a creamy gold. The orchid-like flowers are held above the foliage on dainty stems. T. 'Gilt Edge' blooms over a long period - from late summer through early fall. Adds great texture to hosta beds and makes a great cut flower.

I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of V. 'Red Fox' in our trial Veronica Red Foxgardens. Bright pink flowers adorn the plant for much of the summer. Nice bushy specimens with a dwarf habit look tidy even when not in bloom. Hummingbirds seem to be especially enamored with it.
